The wildlife in the park is always worth a shot or several, and we spent best part of a day there enjoying the Autumn sunshine and good company...

Nice, nice, nice! I could see #1 as more high key and dream-like, though it's very engaging as-is. My second-favorite is #3: the pp, the reflections and the subjects. The last is another eye-catching moment. I'm so envious of your great light and photogenic critters.

Beautiful images Dave. I'm going with the first and last as favorites. Very well done indeed.

We've been meaning to get back to the zoo while we still have some mild weather. Not sure it's gonna happen thou.

I’ve ramped-up #1 a bit and it will definitely go further Linda - your thoughts on it are as mine. The last one is my own favourite - if only for the difficulty I had with it! I love the long grasses of the park but they don’t help focussing. Thanks for looking.

I like the 1st best - not just the light and colors but the juxtaposition of strength and tenderness work for me.

Two stags tried to persuade her to get up as they were all moving to the other side of a small stream. Neither were successful - a strong-minded young lady, but she did give him a kiss! Thanks for looking-in George.

I like them all; but the first one is perhaps the most interesting. If, for no other reason, the unusual pp which is very effective. Perhaps, as Linda, suggested, and you alluded to, it could go a bit further.

I’m pretty sure it will push further Erich, the version shown is dialled-back a little. I’d like to try it with the last one as well. Thanks for commenting.

For me, #1 wins hands down, with the last one second. The first is the only real wall-hanger IMO. I think it has a "painterly" quality that really appeals to me.

Re-examining, I think it's the diagonal positioning of the two on the uniformity of the grass background that makes this one stand out.

Nice, especially the first one, which I see as excellent.

I have to separate out composition and processing. 1, at least in my opinion, is the far superior composition. The processing you used on it is killer. If I were to do anything to it, I might raise the black point, if not just slightly. Your artistry is much appreciated.

Seems #1 is the overall favorite, and I would have to agree with that assessment. A very gentle scene with nice composition and the color tones are thumb up for me. BTW a very nice series.

The interaction, the colors, the composition--all go towards making #1 my favorite. The only thing that seems a bit strange is the dark halo around parts of the animals, likely caused by burning the animals.
Moving shot!

Dave,
Good series!
First and last are my favs.
I recognize the Sikas, but what is #4? A red deer?
