Picking up mid-day from Waldport, this set continues our drive along Hwy. 101 into Bandon, where we spent our second night.

The dune shot is ultra-cool. Great timing on the light!
Beautiful series. I’m very partial to the Oregon coast. Very nice work capturing its beauty.
These are all quality shots, Diane! Very well done.

Thanks, Linda! I didn't have the energy to walk ankle deep in the soft sand, so I cheated and shot from the road where I took the shot of the bridge. But I've always wanted to photograph dunes from the ridges with the leading lines and shadows.

Thank you, Dennis--I have long counted Oregon in my top three treasured destinations. This was my sixth visit to the state and, sadly, the last. Can only imagine what all I have missed with such brief time spent at any one place.

With the quality of your own portfolio, I am very appreciative of your kind words. You have exquisite flower images and I like that you hold onto depth of field--my preference.

You do a great tour!
Thanks, Mike! I think it goes something like paying it forward--I see other photographers' pictures of places that look enticing to visit, I plan my trips with inspiration from those images, then try to do likewise. Whether or not I succeed at it, I sure have a lot of fun trying!
Sure appreciate the thumbs up! Heceta is iconic for a good reason, it sits along such a beautifully curved coastline for creating nice compositions. So glad you liked my attempt to do it justice. Thanks, alx!
