Welcome to the forum! These are excellent photos of a subject I too am interested in. I live just west of Rochester, NY, and there are hundreds of farms, (and old barns) between here and Buffalo. You have a great eye and technique for making them photogenic, thanks for sharing!

I love barns. Nice set, welcome to UHH.
I really like the last one. Very colorful and makes me curious about the site.
Some really nice barns there. I like #1 the best. First of all, it seems to be sharper, but since the images aren't downloadable, I can't really tell. But I like the expanse of the field leading up to the barn. That really puts the barn in place.
No real technique, every photo different so if im not happy with a photo i process it in PS until i get what i like. I guess the fact that I'm a Graphic Designer and have been using PS since it was invented has alot to do with it.
These barns are in Rome, NY and i ride by them all the time. I always mentioned to my wife that they remind me of Monopoly buildings. When the snow came they stood out even more, had to shoot them. Gave a 13x19 print to owners.
Subject matter and composition are great and the processing used makes them appear as very nice paintings, but overcooked as photographs. Just my opinion.
