Sorry about your injury. I'm a few years behind you in age.
I hope you continue to shoot. Can you get around with a powered chair? You will have a different (Better?) view than most of us.
Could be very interesting. Look for 'The picture within the picture'. Photgraph what others walk right past. The rusty hinge on the fence and gate at a low f: stop for example. You could develop (No pun intended!) a nice portfolio.
