This Walking Stuff Can Get Complicated!

This Snowy Egret didn't try to compete with a Great Egret for the fish chasing the bread people were throwing to the ducks, instead he was after the bread, in and out of the water.

"Lil' Snowy" tried to change directions to chase some bread and got a little crossed up. Been walking long?

80D, 100-400L mkII @ 170, 1/320 @ f/6.3, ISO 125 hand held

Yeah, life isn't fair, the Great Egret was 2 1/2 times as tall so his best bet was chase the bread. Thank you

The Riverwalk is a man made series of ponds, rapids, stretches of streams etc. built in a flood control channel, the banks are molded concrete and in this section concrete set cobble stones. About two steps and the bird would have been in the water.
