And yes after 38 years this F3 is still 100% operational...
The viewfinder is crystal clear and far larger/brighter than any current Nikon...
Split prism focusing a joy to use and it has real-time Aperture readout at the top of the viewfinder.

Love all that hair in the last one. The photos are great but I don't like her expression.
I loved my F3 and my F4s even more.

Nice work Thomas. My favorite is number 3, good stuff.
Thanks for posting. Very good shots, and thanks for the diagram.
A beautiful model but where are her teeth?

I have to say that lips and no teeth does not bother me in the least. I believe (maybe not correctly) that humans do not naturally show their teeth while smiling and its something that people have learned to do for some unknown reason. I've even seen some folks on TV that show a substantial portion of gum while smiling, which I find just gross.

Gorgeous photos ! Thank you for posting your lighting set-up, it helps in my growth as a photographer.
Thank you for your very kind words Shellback... great that you found the lighting diagram of merit :)
Rab-Eye we are on the same page here... the magic of a bright crystal clear viewfinder is astonishing...
albeit current AF has relegated such attributes to secondary concern... I still miss it though...
Jules Karney thanks for the kudos on #3...
As an outstanding sport photographer you likely appreciate the merit of a "frozen decisive moment"
Strobe duration was approximately 1/3300 second...
DaveC1 I certainly appreciate you kind words... also that you found the lighting diagram of value...
While catch-lights can and often do reveal much about the key light, however kickers often remain less easily defined...
maggiemae and Ava'sPapa I greatly appreciate your taking the time to review and reflect on Claudia's imagery.
And I certainly take your thoughts seriously... That said I was only one member of this team which was a collaborative...
Below please find the team's agreed upon concept image for this session...
Hope this helps in comprehending the efforts
Also keep in mind that Claudia is at the beginning of her journey as a fashion/beauty model being only 14 years old.
I actually believe she did a superb effort to "replicate" the concept narrative... And although she failed to precisely "duplicate" the concept I wasn't shooting tethered thus it is my bad for not have her repeat each narrative until perfect...
I will likely be working with her again soon and typically second sessions are always far easier and more productive...
btw, Claudia will be representing the State of Virginia in the "Teen Division" of Miss Fashion Week Grand Finale to be held in Dallas Texas on the 1st of December, 2018. She also is a spokesperson for a "body positive" campaign...
Again I thank you all for your thoughtful review and reflections...

You do fine work sir. It's nice you have the patience to write back everybody who posted comments. Most people would not do that, probably me included lol...

They both look beautiful! Love the studio work.
thank you Jules, UHH is a community thus in keeping with the aforementioned I find it of merit to recognize the efforts of other members who take time to review and reflect...
A10... All credit here goes to Claudia... she is the actual creative force behind all these captures... more incredibly she's far advanced so early on in her journey... At 14 she certainly is agency worthy and a joy to collaborate with... thank you for your feedback... it is appreciated...
