Hi Hogs - I have ordered and dowloaded some new preset bundles etc from the internet, I am having difficulty in knowing how to get them into LightRoom etc, I know there is an easy way. Can anybody help me with this. Thank you.

Pretty easy, just drop the .lrtemplate files (presets) into your develop presets folder....

OR... when in the DEVELOP module, you can click the + sign in the presets folder pane, and IMPORT the lrtemplatge files. - See image....

FWIW - presets are just saved slider settings, nothing special. Easy enough to make your own from your editing sessions within Lightroom.

Just as an FYI these instructions do not work for Lightroom CC. You click on File in the upper left hand corner and choose Import Profiles and Presets from the dropdown menu then navigate and click on the files you downloaded. Lightroom will import them for you.

I have Lightroom Classic CC, latest version and yes indeed the import presets from the little + in the right does import presets into Lightroom, they fall under the USER preset item.

To add LUTS, its a bit more complicated, but not super hard, actually done to camera profiles and using camera raw.
