I was diagnosed with a recurrence of my breast cancer shortly after having retired form Anchorage, AK to Ellijay, GA. I never quit taking photos, but didn't spend much time processing they or trying to post them to various sites including UglyHedgehog.com. I hope to be a more frequent contributor in the future. These are a few shots of Ruby Throated Hummingbirds. They are the only ones we have in this area ...Ellijay, Ga. The males come in early in the summer and leave shortly after mating with females. The females an juveniles don't leave until late fall ...like last week.

Such a beautiful capture! Sorry about your recurring cancer, I hope your doing better! I too have some recurring cancer but it’s Tall Cell thyroid cancer. It’s amazing how photography centers me.
