When using LR I enjoy the Clarity module the most. It seems to bring back what I saw originally (@least in my old mind!) Anyone else?

I use the Clarity tool to add a bit of contrast and sharpens some edges, but I use it sparingly so that the pictures do not look over processed. It can leave light edges that I don't like. Clarity does several things at once that I would rather do one at a time so I have more control...like sharpening, adding contrast, etc. If it works for you and you like the results, great. I prefer to use that tool sparingly, though I do use it regularly. It will be interesting to hear how other UHH members use the Clarity tool. jak

I have fun switching between and mixing a little Clarity with a little Dehaze.

I agree with bsprague...lately I find myself using a touch of dehaze with a slightly heavier touch of clarity.

Clarity and Dehaze are the two controls I look at when I'm done processing a photo. Usually a mild tweak adds just a touch of pop.

I think you may have stated the concept more eloquently than I did...have to admit I like you style of processing

Both Clarity and Dehaze need to be used with care, when I use "Dehaze" on a really hazy scene it is very easy to begin to see noise if I slide it too far, however it does bring out the blue sky very nicely.

I like to use both dehaze and clarity to take away definition and contrast - for some scenes.

In Elements, I start with setting Clarity at about 30 and Saturation at half of that, then go from there.
