HiAll A slightly different way to use this program for an industrial effect with a more subtle impact. RBorud

Interesting. It seems to be accentuating textures and smooth surfaces as well.

Well done. Your process really enhances the grittiness of the scene.

Very cool effect. For me it has the feel of a comic book look.

I see its windows only. Did you apply other processing prior to the fractalius filter? It has a similar color feel to it that I have seen in other things you have done?

fergmark you are observant, yes it was done in layers, with variants of the fractalius filter applied applied in various areas. I have written several new presets for fractalius to suit me. I find most of the factory presets less than useful. The plugin is very flexible and the image has three different presets across the image. Thanks for asking. RBorud

The varied application of the fractalius filter is brilliant! I love what it did to the tire prints. Interesting and cool work!

Hi, Russ,
Fascinating!
Fractalius, among its other effects, seems to me to accentuate the contours of a variety of smooth surfaces.
Thanks for posting this!

What a shame it’s only for Windows users, it’s certainly got loads of potential and your shot works really well in showing it off.
