Taken @ Keeneland horse racetrack where many photographers were in attendance. This just one I was able to capture as she was standing in front of a rock pillar which made for a good backdrop. Comments, tips and or suggestions welcomed.

Very effective for me. A variety of blur widths, especially smaller, might give the camera more emotional and compositional weight.

I like it but I keep looking at the bulbous chin area.

Excellent work, Dave. I believe that if you changed anything some of the impact would be lost.

Bob, there's probably a little room for less blur. As one always experimenting with various effects, I don't quite understand "might give the camera more emotional and compositional weight". Thanks for commenting.

Thanks Mark !!! The chin area is a scarf wrapped around her neck and since it was a little on the cold side for some that day, she covered the lower portion of the face. I too, think it is a little awkward, but since I knew what it was, I never gave it any thought that it would be an issue. I appreciate you mentioning it, because there may be others thinking the same I'm sure.

Yes, very effective Dave - keep it the way it is. Love her hand too - very fitting shape for the spooky feel!
