I added the Olympus OMD system to my equipment stable as an alternate to the heavier Nikon kit. For less than half of the weight of the Nikon system (which I really enjoy using) I built an Olympus collection that covers the same working range. The learning curve for me was made very easy by watching YouTube videos by Rob Trek--Guy With a Camera. http://robtrek.com/ Each clip is short, to the point and easy to understand. Within a week of having the new system I was able to use the new Olympus to document my son's wedding event. Results were outstanding and I wasn't encumbered with camera gear. Just one small camera with one lens did it all.
Travel by car it will be the Nikon. Travel by air it will be the Olympus. Always my Olympus Tough because it is very small and weatherproof.
