Hi thanks for your comment... I wasn't sure if it was my post editing or theirs... All were shot in camera RAW and sent to the lab as JPEGS.. I wonder why their prints came out excellent? I also sent them JPEGS that I had edited from my raws and told them not to edit print as is... The prints turned out excellent.. I think there is some reason why the prints are bad when they edit my edits...

Easiest way to check is to send them something that you have edited with instructions for them to print as is. If the print comes out good then it's their editing that causes the problem. If the print is bad and they haven't done any editing then it is probably your editing that is causing the problem

I always send my prints to the lab with instructions to print as is and don't seem to have any problems.

The first thing you need to be sure you are doing is that you have calibrated your monitor. I use a Spyder Elite, but the Datacolor one is just as good and easy to do. Once that is done, you need to get, from your lab, the specific ICC profile for the paper (some labs have only one do-it-all profile) you will be using. If you have, and use, both of those, there should be no issues. I am currently using an iMac Pro, and before that a iMac 5k Retina. I have had absolutely no problems calibrating those displays -- it can ABSOLUTELY be done and it makes a HUGE difference in what I see and how my prints come out. I use WHCC, and also WHCC through my SmugMug site. I have the lab do no color correction. The results are wonderful and I get no complaints. I have also run sample prints through WHCC just to check things out. I shoot in RAW exclusively and process in the latest versions of Lr/Ps. I send Jpegs to the lab exported from Lr. Hope this helps. (I have left out most of the details for brevity, but this is my process.) Best of luck.
