Found these Monarch butterflies in Pacific Grove and Santa Cruz, CA. Still early in the season. Also captured the hummingbird in with the butterflies.

Just beautiful! Iām waiting for ours to arrive. We have a preserve in back of my home where at least 5000 usually rest for winter, although in years past we had 40,000 to 50,000. The monarchs are endangered and numbers dropping fast.
I used to live a 1/4 mile from them in Pacific Grove and enjoyed them daily. This makes me want to see them again. Also, in the past I saw them in Arroyo Grande.
The cluster is beautiful.
