Which will then be followed by "Black Friday" week or two sales, then final pre-Christmas sales, then end-of-year "close out" sales. Having spent 39 yrs in Sales & Marketing, I can tell you stroking your GAS is not an accident. <grin>

Thanks for the behind-the-scenes, mindset look, at Madison Avenue's approach to consumers' susceptibility to "buy more stuff," especially during the holidays.

You're lucky in the US. Nikon UK don't seem to do any sales. All the major Nikon approved retailers tend to sell at same price. If you find them much cheaper, they are grey imports....

I was going to say this too. You guys, be glad you get discounts at all. Apple are the same, you get sales over there but we never seem to.

Where can I get the best deal on a NEW USA D7200 body? $996.00 has been the going price for the past few months.

The best deal must be $800 or less. Keep waiting. I think it will be soon. And I am talking about brand new not refurbished.

The ??? Is not when but should I upgrade from my 7100 to something more ... like full frame. It is serving it’s purpose now but I’m thinking of the future and also of getting either the Nikon 150-500 tele or the Sigma 150-600 contemporary by Christmas. Not a GAS attack as wife agrees

Not only that, cameras/lenses are always cheaper in the US. For example I'm look at purchasing a Tamron lens. In UK it's £ 789 (£200 cheaper at Amazon but grey market). In the States e.g. Adorama it sells for $799 which is about £ 622....jealous....

Well c’mon over, we’d love to see you. Americans love anyone from the UK

If, during a visit to the US could something like a camera be purchased and brought back to England without a tariff being charged?
