Beautiful captures Bob! You sure got great weather. I'm looking forward to photos from the rest of your trip, one we also considered.

We spent 3 days each in Amsterdam at the beginning and end of an 11 week trip to Europe in 1973 and finally got back in June, but only for a 6 hour layover in Schiphol on our way to a cruise in Bergen Norway.

Thanks DJphoto…..Appreciate your approval on the pictures from The Netherlands! Yes....in this group we did have some great sunshine, but not for everyday of our vacation. The one you looked at is the 1st post from this trip & have since posted a 2nd set on Amsterdam before the weekend. Plan to add another shortly as we saw a lot while in Amsterdam.

I bet that cruise to Bergen, Norway was spectacular! On the cruise we took several folks were onboard who spent the prior week cuising Norway & loved it. We weren't aware of that option or we may have added it. Thanks again, Bob

I'm about a week behind on this blog, so I haven't gotten to your second set yet. Our cruise was amazing. We went from Bergen up to Honningsvag (the Nordkap), the Shetland and Orkney Islands, Edinburgh and then London. It was two weeks on Viking Ocean ("To The Midnight Sun," about 2/3 in Norway) and we had spectacular weather. I finally started using Lightroom about a week ago and will start processing my images (~2,200) this week and will be posting the best ones in the future.
