Except for color, he could be my Jindo, Vern. Always amazes me how close the breed is to their wild cousins. Great pictures.

Beautiful. I surprised he stayed for the photo shoot.

Thank you very much. I was surprised too. Almost 300 pics before he headed into the bushes. I think I caught him napping and he was just tired. Gary

Very nice. He looks like he could be somebody's dog. You usually think of coyotes as pests but he really is a good looking animal. Good job capturing him.

Thank you very much Maggiemae. He may be a hybrid. Coy-dog or Coy-wolf. He was pretty tall too. Gary

From the set of his ears, I'd say he knew you were there and was contemplating leaving.

I pulled up in a truck, so I'm sure he knew I was there. Between the two of us, I'd say I was the most shocked because of the encounter. There were oodles of squirrels running around. Some people too. I'm sure when he culls the squirrel herd, he will move on. Gary

Gary,
You were "Lucky & Good".

We had a beautiful fox behind our condo complex. I got a pretty good shot of him as he seemd to hang around long enough for me to get my camera and shoot. I was also lucky!!
I love wildlife. Your experience points to always having a camera available. That way, we may all "get lucky".

Thank you very much Mark. I couldn't believe how lucky I was seeing him. I took a few shots from the cab of my truck. Gary

The ears are very similar. Most of the coyotes around me are hybrids. You never know, they may be related. Thank you. Gary

Thank you very much. There were squirrels all over the place. I'm looking forward to going back in a couple weeks, to see if there are any left. Gary
