I entered a macro competition and ended up in a 3 way tie for first place!!! I had entered "beginner" level comp before, but this one was with the big boys/girls. I had to share....thanks for looking.

I can see good reasons for your first prize -- 3-way or not. It's an excellent image; great light and lots of emotional value. Congratulations!

Looks like a winner to me Fran. That is so excellent the way the sharpness and detail slowly and evenly decends to the out side edges of the picture and it is a beautiful flower also.

The download is stunning. Love the contrast of dark edges against whiter center. Congrats!
btw, check your color space. You should post to internet using sRGB; that way the thumbnail will be as bright and vibrant as the downloads
