Do any Canon owners use this? I have just started to try it out, but you have to use DPP, which is not part of my usual workflow, so I have a few questions:

1. Does it only work on RAW images?

2. Can I "develop" an image in the usual way and then run it through DPP as a final process?

3. Will it work if the image is cropped before running it through DPP?

I can probably answer these questions by trial and error myself, but it's late and I'm off to bed, so I thought I would try and pick some other brains. I must say it's very clever, but I'm not sure if it is worth the effort.

I have DPP but use it very little. My post processor of choice is Corel PaintShop Pro X4. However, when I did poke at DPP I was working with jpegs. And I don't know of anything that would prevent you from using another program first. The workflow would be do what you would do, save the result as a jpeg or tiff file and then re-open it with DPP. It does seem that DPP is limited to Canon RAW, jpeg, and tiff file types.

Good luck with DPP. Look forward to seeing some examples of your work with it.
