Some places I come back to time and time again, this high plateau of the Laramie Range (8,000 ft) is one of them. I have a recurring dream of being found after spring thaw in a place like this, a camera in my hand and a smile on my face.

I believe there are many, many ways to depart this life that have less appeal.

My recurring dream is me in a pile of Brown Bear scat, camera and pistol lying off to the side all scratched up. Not kidding. Rough way to go. Nice photo.

Thank you so much. I do believe I have yet to do proper justice to this scene. I intent to keep trying although snow drifts will soon make the road impassable until about May next year.
