I hope they focus on lower noise, better focusing, global shutter and battery life. 20fps has some value in capturing the peak moment, but the down side is the time spent reviewing images. To me 10fps is already too much to review. It would also be nice if they could eliminate the mechanical shutter and have the ability to use flash.
Xmas is not in the cards, but it will be soon after that for they need to upstage Fujifilm's X-T3 if they want to maintain their dominance in all categories.

All Sony cameras can use flash now with mechanical shutters FYI. The 20fps is to answer the new APS-C Fuji XT3 which can shoot at up to 30fps (in electronic shutter, with some limitations) . Mechanical shutters wont be eliminated until global shutters come out. A global electronic shutter will be able to use flash. Announcement of new A7000 (or whatever it is to be called) is pegged for around Christmas now. Expect it to be a mini-A9 as predicted. Sony needs to get back on top in APS-C mirrorless. Right now Fuji XT3 has the current A6500 beat in all areas except IBIS.
