Golden Eagle in a Golden Tree

From our trip to Colorado last month...still going through photos.
This was taken on a somewhat busy highway leaning over a county fence. I was trying somewhat unsuccessfully to get a handheld, unobstructed view and these were the best of the series. Heavy crops, too. Anyhow, don't get many chances at photographing Golden Eagles and I'm happy I was able to get these images.
They are huge birds!!

My nephew and his wife were here for a few days and we did the Mirror Lake drive right after the snow hit the high country. Saw our first B.E. of the season at Mirror Lake that day although the fotos are not that good...only had my 12-100 lens with me.

I'm still trying to get a "good" Golden Eagle shot. I got a set in Eastern Oregon a few years ago but nothing to brag about. Certainly not as good as yours. Nice job!
