Thanks Blitz. The moose was about 8-10 feet away from the road. What's not seen is the guard rail.

Thank Rich. I was driving east on the Kancamagus and saw several cars ahead of me stopped. At first I thought there was an accident, but the I noticed the moose. It was about 8-10 feet from the road.

Great shots of a place I know so well from my childhood, you've captured it well. My Dad used to joke that there were no moose in NH (he had never seen one) Guess he was wrong!
