Thank you for bringing back memories with these lovely pictures. I used to go to Ecola all the time when I was growing up in Portland- and we took our dog with us. Is there still the golf course at Manzanita with the last hole straight up? I’ve lived on the East Coast for the last 30 years and miss the Pacific.

Beautiful images, all! But for the scenics, the visible wave action really adds to the drama in that photograph, IMHO.

We used to go there when we lived in Oregon. You are right, beautiful spot, and love seeing your shots of it. Nicely done!

Yes, the golf course is still there. You would probably be shocked at how many homes are there and most of them are vacation rentals. Manzanita's population is about 800 people but the summer months swell to several thousand people. The one avenue that runs down to the beach is all shops and eateries and thank goodness the businesses are not spreading throughout town. It has maintained its small village ambience.
