I seem to keep coming back to this photo that I took several years ago and keep reworking. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Hi, George,
The impact I get is of tension...the bride isn’t posing; she is heading toward the viewer , being followed by the three fellows back amongst the shadows.
My feeling is what you see is what you have! Good eye!
I am curious what you see and are working toward?

Dave

The only problem I have is the imbalance between light and dark. The shadowy area behind and to the right of the bride seems a bit too dark, while the building on the left of the frame has areas that are too eye-catching. Light level adjustments would sort that out, and a crop would help to focus attention on the bride. As it is she's just a bit too distant for her expression to be easily discernible.

Yes, I can see the light imbalance. Thanks for commenting.

Hi Dave, The bride is heading to the harbor for a short cruise for all brides of the past year. This is a Porto tradition. No idea who the 3 fellows are but thought they added some mystery to the shot. Thanks for looking.

I like the shot and don't really have an issue with the light imbalance. But that's me. To me it represents great street photography. It definitely sparks imagination.

Falls just short of being a superb shot because your point of focus seems to be behind the bride so the main subject is a soft with some blown areas. It is however interesting and different enough to remain a good shot.

Looks to me like some of the railings on the balconies are in sharper focus than the bride - and the shot is listing to the right. But I like the image overall.

I did miss the focus by a bit and the uneven street was a challenge. Glad you liked it.

I zoomed in a bit and the story I see is an apprehensive bride on an empty street being followed by 3 questionable characters. She’s not sure which way to turn and....
