With my Canon 80D I can using the touch screen move the image around on the LCD, but so far I have not been able to do this with my 7D M II. The manual seems to indicate this can be done, but I have not figured out how to do it. Any help will be appreciated, or tell me it is not possible.

thanks for your time.

7DII does not have a touch screen, you move the focus point via the "joy stick"

Nothing to add except a question for the OP. What gave you the impression a 7D Mark II had a touch screen?

My fault for assuming it had one. Miss being able to move the image around as I can on the 80D while reviewing images.

And I copied and posted instructions for moving the focus point, not the image on the view screen. I should stick to doing one thing at a time - 1st cup of coffee, breakfast, spoil dogs and answer UHH all at once didn't work.

Who says you can't move the image around? That's what the joystick is for.
