Very possible. It was in a group of the best cartoons of all time. My favorite, though, is a cartoon of two guys with oversized heads in safari suits coming out of the jungle into a clearing of the jungle where there is a big pot and natives around it. The caption is "Bob and John come out of the jungle and into the headhunter hall of fame." I've been trying to locate it for years but haven't been successful.

My best Gary Larson (other than all his bear cartoons) was three cows standing on back legs in gossiping mode by the fence. One says "Car." second panel Three cows on all fours eating grass by the fence as car passes. Third panel. Three cows again gossiping.
