Visit to Kensington Palace, Family was visiting Briton for two weeks. I used Photoshop to create JPGs from the PEF files. These shared files are highly compressed.
1) Pentax K-1, available light, no flash, all pictures
2) Ceiling, shooting straight up
3) Staircase, with paintings on sides
4) Oil Painting
I was surprised to see such deep colors in the paintings, Kensington Palace and other places. The Pentax K-1 sees deep colors: purples and magentas, better than I see them with my eyes. It is also interesting that the painters choose deep colors to create interesting picture. Currently, boo-hoo if a photographer creates a poor portrait. But in previous times, a poor portrait might cost a painter their finances and sometimes their lives. Talk about skin in the game!
