Sony Nex-7 Lenses

I own the Sony Nex-7 camera and on photozone.de the lens reviews(optical quality) for this camera were terrible mostly 1 star.
Well I purchased the 16mm pancake lens--came from Korea for about $180. as opposed to $249 at best buy.
I took some photos and think the quality is great.

Please let me know your feedback--I'm afraid to buy lenses for this camera because of the terrible photozone reviews normally only 1 or 2 stars--can't figure out how they get this????

I think your picture looks great. Please post some outdoor photos.
I have the 24mm Zeiss, which is great, but I don't know what my next lens will be.
Steve Huff suggests 50 mm manual focus Leica.
Others are saying a longer lens. I'm waiting to see if any quality 2.8, 70-200 mm zooms in e-mount will become available.
But really, that pancake lens seems very nice, and at that price, you can't beat it with a stick.

Everything I seen and read about Sony NEX have had great reviews both from users and techinical people. I have had my hands on a NEX 5 and found the menu options confusing, but after using it I am sure I would adjust to that menu. I know a lady who was shooting Canon DSLR and recently purchased a NEX 5 for travel, she has now has no desire to use her Canon.

What is wrong with those images? What do you not like? Are you sure it is the lens or could it be some camera setting that still needs to to be adjuted?
