I love the low light and how it causes the eye to peer deeper into the image.

We're planning a fall colors trip, maybe next year around October 1. The basic route is from the Boston area up the coast of Maine all the way to the Canadian border (with 2 full days in Acadia), then west to Stowe, the Kancamagus Highway to Conway, then back to the Boston area to fly home; about 11 or 12 days total.
