Every once in a while, the stars and planets align and give you something. lol! I was driving around, hoping for anything, and saw this kingfisher on the wire. Pulled off onto the shoulder, killed the engine, and opened the passenger side window. I keep my camera set ready to shoot on a stack of pillows in front of the passenger seat and I got it up and shot past my dog to get a burst of shots. A few before and a few after, but this was the one. Lucky, lucky, lucky!
