Looks like the Skeletons are gathering to enter the mine. From yesterday - 10/20
BTW: The owner and his family spend untold hours/days and expense doing this each Halloween. Everyone in the area looks forward to it. On Halloween eve, they offer goodies and a certificate to all the kids who dare to traverse the mine. I'll post some images of the inside and other areas arround the venue in days to come.

All photos by Sony RX10 IV - Manual - varied settings.

Thanks for viewing. Please use download.

I cannot take photos, but the structure behind the hill is immense. All kinds of electronics, about 10 different rooms, all constructed with wood, ... Kids and parents come from afar and "tour the mine". You can find out more from the website, www.13skeletons.com or by going to the Facebook site, "13 skeletons". After, it all comes down.

Thanks,
Mark

Great shots Mark, the place looks spooky! I can imagine the amount of work it took to create the “mine”.

There used to be a resident in my town that had a couple of acres and would set his yard up with corridors, rooms and some open wooded areas. It took him weeks preparing for it, but always had a lot of volunteers to help. Many of the volunteers got dressed up in various characters. He kept it open for the month of October. I was the resident Werewolf, and had a great time scaring the kids and adults too👻

Hi,

Really great display. Looks like a real undertaking [!]. enormous amount of work.. My personal opinion is that if all the skeletons were coming out of the mine, it would be scarier.

They were in the beginning. I was away from 10/3 - 10/16. They emerged from both the mine & ground. Jim, the creator and owner, does not miss a "trick" (or treat)!
