Actually, I found learning digital was faster than when I was learning film with my Dad. In digital you have the ability to see what you shot, review highlights, iso, and shutter speed right on the spot. You do not have to wait for developing. Further, you can shoot all the shots you want as there is no additional cost. However, the computer will take a little time so start with printing your jpegs before raw. Good luck and remember if you get lost in the menus just turn the camera off and start over.
I like the cattle pen shots, nice compositions. Keep shootin', digital "film" is cheap. 😊
