Arnarstapi is a small fishing village which sits at the base of a glacier on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. There are some great rock formations and lava caves easily visible from a 0.5 mile walkway. You can venture down to the black sand beach to explore some wreckage of an old trawler or visit the small museum. I hope you enjoy these images.

Testimony to land's creation, still underway at the intersection of earth's plates.

Thanks dancers. We went in early July. Temps in the 40s but windy and rainy most days so it felt a lot colder. My wife regretted not taking her ski parka. We did have a few sunny days. Akureryi has the best weather,
Excellent set. Well done.
