Yesterday was a beautiful day at Huntington Central Park. The migrants were everywhere. I've included the Northern Red Bishop, an African species which has taken up residence in Orange County as well as Texas and Florida, just because of the bright plumage. It was sitting in the top of a tall tree (maybe 50-60 feet) and I was shooting hand held, so it's not sharp. The park includes a small but very nice garden that attracts lots of birds and has several really beautiful flowering plants. I just thought the poppies were bright and cheerful. That's also where I saw the hummingbird. Hope you enjoy.

Robert,
Thanks for the thumbs up. Have a great weekend.
You have a wide variety of birds there. Nice shots. Where is Huntington Central Park?
Thanks. It's on Goldenwest Street and Slater Avenue in Huntington Beach, CA (Orange County). It's also the site of the Huntington Beach Public Library. It is often a great place to find a wide range of species throughout the year. jak
