From the Marshall University vs NC State game.
I love them. Very good.
Can I ask what equipment, settings, and how far away you were shooting. Focus and separate exquisite.
Night game? Looks like some of the shadows might indicate so. Exposure dead on

Thanks for the kind words.
I was using a Nikon D5 with a 400 f2.8 lens.
It was a game that started at 7:00pm so there was still daylight that quickly went to dark.
These photos we taken in the second half so it was dark by then.
As for exposure, it changes fast, but for night games at our stadium, 1/000 sec. at f4 or wider depending on where the play is taking place. It is darker toward the end zones. That’s why I shoot shutter priority. ISO at 10,000
I was about 30 yards or so on the sidelines.
Thanks again.
Actually getting ready to go to a game this afternoon. This is my 43rd season photographing Marshall University sports.

Thanks! There are a few more photos in this series, but I thought the post might be too long with all the photos.
Really nice isolation of subject. Well done.

Not to long, we like looking.
Very little noise @ ISO 10,000 - impressive!
