I have taken four pics on my way home.
Which of these is your favorite?

No. 2 because of the tiny butterfly.
Interesting to me, because I am considering purchasing a Sigma Quattro DP2. I've been shooting a SD14 and SD15 in the past because of the Foveon Sensor and the user convertible Infrared feature.
Have read some very interesting reviews on the DP2 Quattro. How has your experience been overall on that specific camera?
First, I must tell you that I have bought the Sigma DP2Q because of its colors.
The colors look like on film. The camera feels really good in my hands,
it's magnesium- alloy body is sturdy, pleasing to the touch. The lens is brutally
sharp. It's so easy to navigate through menus.
I have also bought a LVF 01 viewfinder kit which is an excellent piece: when I
look through it I have a feeling of a professional movie camera.
Some photographers were complaining about the slowness of the SPP software.
It is slow, I agree, but the stunning photos this camera can take make that
slowness actually a pleasure. I run it on my 2008 Mac Pro, and it goes smoothly.
This precise optical instrument is, definitely, the best camera I ever had.
It's like driving a... Lamborghini Diablo.
I just love it. I just have to get a Sigma EF 140s flash.
Regards
Thanks for your response. Very consistent with reviews I have read so far, and the image colors and sharpness of the lens are prime motivations for me. I have been shooting a Sigma SD15 and want to take advantage of the reviews read so far on the DP2. I have also been been using Fujifilm X trans and bayer XA, but am leaning strongly to the Quattro camera (Foveon Sensor) and higher MP. I've used the Sigma software and do not find the speed annoying.
No photo editing software is "rocket" fast where best results are concerned.
