Erv , I am not good at portraits, but would like to be. From what I have learned from others and watching videos from some of the "Big" guys, I pretend to know. I like the first three although the shirt is a little busy for this little guy. I'd also like the face in the 2nd to be a little more sharp. Get the eyes in focus and allow everything else to be soft.

Thanks tk. Had to use the shirt. :( It was his Dads from when he was small. :) Grandma said so! I will watch the focus more.

Hi colo
Yes back in the stone age when I was young. :) I did weddings and portraits and anything else that paid money. But then I got married and kids came along, but I did do it for about 15 years. Was a fun job. I might go back to it when I retire in a few years. I still help a friend with weddings as a second shooter. And also take pictures at the animal shelters around here for fun. I still have all the gear. I pulled it out to get some good pictures of Harrison before he is not a baby any more. They get big so fast.
