I shot this beauty at the World Raptor Center in Boise ID. Every weekend in the fall they fly 4 to 5 birds and was able to get some nice shots. This is a great place to go and get some real practice, but they also have a great educational program about many endangered birds. The center is also the home for the Peregrine Fund. In hindsight I wish I had been at f5.6 for a little more sharpness.

It looks pretty sharp. The soft clouds certainly didn't suffer from f4

Great shot. I don't know what f/5.6 would have given you compared to f/4.0? DOF is not an issue and the image is actually quite sharp. Would love to go there.
