Thanks Gregory. A little different shot vs water fowl.

Nice shots of a car that will turn a few heads when on the road.

You are correct Doddy, I am sure a few heads would turn. Thanks for viewing.

Great shot of a great looking car.

Thanks angler! I would think you might run across some of these old beauties in your neck of the woods.

The second shot is my favourite but I would have given it a cleaning with the clone stamp to remove the white spots.

Thanks for viewing and commenting Amersfoort. Will check that out next time.

Very nice shots. The dash picture is fantastic - notice the reverse sweep tach. Also, the speedometer is in front of the passenger so they don’t have to ask “do you know how fast you’re going?” In the 1960s, I owned a 150 drop-head coupe similar to this 140 - it was the start of a long parade of Jags (XK8 & XF, currently).

Thanks for the kind comment cdayton. I noticed that also, different to say the least. I will be posting more in the next couple of days. What's a Jag collection without the "E" Class!

A beautiful photo of a lovely Jaguar. Well done.
When I was 16 and had just gotten my driver's license in NYS one of my favorite uncles came to visit from Western NY to just above NYC. Yup, you guessed it, he was driving a new, to him, an XK140 in BRG. He invited me to stay with him and my grandmother for part of the summer. He allowed me to drive that beautiful car from one end of NYS to the other to get back up toward the Buffalo area. You can imagine the thrill of a kid driving that car for 8 hours. Though we are both older he is still one of my favorite uncles and one of the three nicest guys I have ever met. His two brothers are the other two.

I'm in love. Great pin up shots of a beautiful car. Those curves, the burl. I can smell the leather.

Fell in and out of love all day looking at these cars! Thanks much for the kind comment Bill.

Thanks for commenting Vicki. The show did not start until 10:00 AM, I got there about noon. Had to battle the high sun all day but the weather was great, around 90 with very clear skies.

That is my all time favorite car starting with the XK 120. Jay Leno started with this also. Check out Jay Leno’s Garage on the internet.
