Still having questions about printers. Many UHH ers have said to look at the Canon Pixma Pro-100. I find it on sale everywhere for under $100.00. Question- is anyone using it with windows 10, and how well does it print, compaired to my P.P 9000.

I once had the Canon 9000, great printer, but you will find the Pro-100, which I now have to replace it, to be an excellent printer.
I've printed 13x19 photos that just look fantastic.
The ink, of course, is not cheap though, but typical of most photo quality inkjets. That's likely why Canon sells them at such a great price. One reload of all the inks approaches the price of the (discounted) printer.
I hestiantly began using LD brand inks last year and really see no difference, and this brand is fairly well known to produce inks that are on-par with Canon.

I a using the PRO-100 with W10. Easy set up. Be aware that is not a general purpose printer.

Needed as picture printer for club competitions and to sell prints. My old Canon PP-9000 won many print competitions. I already have a every day printer for email and such.

It works seamlessly with Windows 10, as long as you load the unobtrusive Canon front end and drivers.
Print quality is excellent
Ink is expensive, but wha photo printer isn't?

I have a Pixma Pro 100, a Pixma Pro 10 and Pixma TS9020. The 9020 is my general purpose printer and is also used for 8.5X11 black and white photo prints, it's an exceptional B&W printer, and smaller color prints. The Pro 10 & 100 aren't really suited to smaller prints. For larger (13X19) or slightly smaller color prints, depending on how much color is in the image, the Pro 10 is used for images with lots of color and the Pro 100 is used for images with less color.
I originally only had the Pro 10 but it can go through some ink, so I got the Pro 100 to cut costs a bit. One thing I do periodically when either of the two big printers haven't been used in a while is run the diagnostic program and print color bars on plain paper. This keeps the print heads from clogging. The Jets in those print heads are really small and will begin to clog in time.

If you don't do larger prints, prints over 8.5X11, don't get a Pro 10 or 100. Also, if you do a lot of 8.5X11 color or black and white, especially B&W, the TS 9020 does really nice color and exceptional black and white and shades of grey.

Both lap top computers used with the printers are windows 10, and the tablet is Android.

I'm surprised you found it priced so low. It was well up there not long ago. For some reason, Canon keeps offering those huge rebates. I have a 9000, and a Pro-100, and the Pro-100 is at least as good. When you figure it cost under $100, how can you go wrong with this big, quality printer? Ink is pricey, but I'm going the refillable route the next time it needs ink. It can also print wirelessly, but I've never had a need to set it up for that.

If you go for refillables, Precision Color is about the best. However no 3rd party inks will give you the longevity of the original inks. If you sell the prints, use OEM.

At $100.00 don't buy ink. A set of ink is more then $100.00 just replace the printer. Give the old one to a friend.

I have a Pixma Pro-100. It is kind of slow and clunky, but the output is superb. I would recommend it.

I can't agree more.
I have been using my P-100 with LD Inks for quite a while and have had no problems.
I'm pleased with the results.

Yes, I have, and should have mentioned that. No issues, there are drivers for it.
