The sunset scene can take our breath away. Remember you need many scattered water clouds over the horizon to get those fabulous gorgeous scene. A clear cloudless sky will not lend it self to what we lo for when we think of sunsets. I prefer sunsets over water scenes.
Let's not forget the SUNRISE scenes also. They are more golden in hues. Try to find a lake or beach area during sunrise and the need to get up very early will pay off in your photos.
I saw a sunrise once. I had been up all night and damn if the sun wasn't coming up when it was time to go home.
I'm looking for better locations than my backyard, but we had company last night, the sun was setting, the colors were spectacula,r so I shot it from my yard because I could.
