A few shots from the other day. I did a little PP in CS5 but they still don't look right to me. Shot with my Canon T1i, 55-250 kit lens. A little help would be appreciated. Thank you.

What an adorable little girl!

I'm having a tough time seeing what's not to like. I think #1 might be a bit loose and #2 might be a bit tight, but nothing serious. Good exposure, focus is sharp. What do YOU see as an issue?
Thank you. I guess I am a little to critical of my own work. I just didn't think they looked sharp enough.
Your subject is sharp. Perhaps it looks out of whack because the bbackground to the riight of her is out of focus. With no background on the left except a small bit above the chair it looks out of balance. It is as if 2/3 of the picture is in focus and 1/3 isn't. That is my take on it.

I think it s the smile! It isn't there. :) Other than that, very nice.

Except for the cropping, which others have mentioned, I see nothing wrong with the images. Good job in every respect.
I did a little pp on this pic. If you like it & want the other 2 done let me know.
I would try a vertical shot, leaving some room for cropping if necessary, and frame for her whole body. I don't think you could crop the existing photo to just have her reading the book, but a vertical shot could do it.
I like all three but if it was me I would kick up the temperature a little which would give her skin more of the glow children have. The colors seem low.
