Wind Damage

This barn had just been repaired and painted when I took the first photo early last year. It's probably one of the best looking barns in the county. I never noticed any activity to indicate it was being used, as it was along the highway I traveled at least once a week. There was no livestock in the area, or hay being stored there from what I could see.

This spring, we had a strong thunderstorm one afternoon, and the next day I drove by this location. WOW! The weather folks said the damage was from straight line winds, not a tornado. Many trees in the near by woods were also torn upl I suppose the fact that all of the debris was in one direction supports the straight line wind theory.
