The train runs about 100 miles from Belen thru Albuquerque to Santa Fe and is a great one day round trip ride at a bargain price, about $10. I boarded at ABQ in the morning, visited Santa Fe and returned to ABQ in the afternoon. It's smooth, quiet and if you pick your times not crowded. You will be asked to not photograph certain areas to respect the wishes of the tribal councils. The graffiti and murals are interesting as is the city of Santa Fe and the people.

Bright colors on old architecture.
Very nice series. When I saw "El Hombre Peligroso" the first thing I thought was, holy cow, looks like Dale Earnhardt! Really like all the colors. Beautiful.

And I thought it looks like an Hombre I know from about 2 hours north of there.
Must be a common look

Very nice set! Thank you for posting them and brightening a dreary day 1970 miles east. (1700 as the crow flies)
Thanks for your comment. Nothing like a cold January day after a snow storm to bring out a clear blue sky and make the colors pop.
Great series of train and architecture photos. I especially like the dangerous old hombre.

That looks like an interesting ride. I’ve been to Santa Fe and have seen some of the things you picture here, bringing back nice memories.
Your hombre looks a lot like Kicks Brooks.
Great set. I love the colors. The Dangerous Man seems to be popular. It is a great portrait.
