A very nice pastoral scene and well composed.

My immediate reaction is "pleasing." It is well done and calming.

I read the comments and I agree for the most part. There are some details that could be attended to. I might try to get more definition in the sky. The clouds are certainly not blown out; but you might be able to bring out more detail with a gradient tool in LR. I also wonder about that first row of hedges. Is it really necessary for your photo. Does it add or detract. I don't think it is a big deal, and it is something you'll have to answer for yourself. I might cut it out if I could do so and not affect the overall composition. Maybe if you cropped so that the hedge is visible; but the area in front of the hedge is cropped out. The effect is very pleasing, though. It calmed me right down and I love the cows.

To my eye the composition looks a bit fragmented. It looks like the interesting stuff is off in the distance, but there's nothing to lead the eye in that direction, and even if there was, the background isn't being presented effectively. In fact there's a series of obstacles and diversions in the foreground, which doesn't really work for me. It might have worked better if you'd made a feature of the hedges and trees as leading lines or framing elements, with the animals as added interest. Just another viewpoint for you to consider.

I think that the image suffers from having an uninteresting center, and the two sides are not well connected visually. I did a simple crop and a slight edit which in my opinion brings out the potential in your image. What do you think?
I tried a little crop on the right to settle the composition a little.

A very pastoral scene, but I like both the crops as well, maybe favouring the earlier. I'd consider a bit of work to take out the tiled roof and whatever else is behind the fence to the right of the roof.

ediesaul Here is another possibility. RBorud
I still prefer the original but with some possible enhancement on the clouds.
I like R.G.'s use of "fragmented." For me, one drawback to trying to make sense of the whole is the flat light. So, not only are we jumping around looking at bits and pieces, we aren't drawn to any brighter areas via the use of light.
