Trees in the landscape.
The trees in the first image are about 100 years old as they only have a few feet to spread their roots the rest is permafrost. Every year I drove by I took a picture of this reflection, in 15 years there was no change, like time stands still, amazing Alaska. All images were taken in my favorite state, Alaska.

I guess unless I win the lotto, I will never see the beautiful state Alaska, with all of it's beauty!

Yes from your end of the country it might get expensive just to get there. From my home in the San Francisco area it is only a 4 hour flight, all the times I went up there I went off season, mid September, it is cheaper and no more mosquitoes, plus the nice fall color. I hope you make it, it is beautiful. As I am 82 years old now my travel days are over.
Wonderful images. Stunning and well taken. I would love to drive up to Alaska with my Jeep and all of my camera gear. Can't seem to find anyone who wants to go with me. . .and it does not seem like the kind of trip that one should make alone.
