On my Fuji cameras is my 18-55 going to be wide enough?
Or- should I buy a second D7200 to go with my 12-24 to go along with my present D7200 and 18-300.
(2 Nikon bodies? Weight, etc.?)

That depends how comfortable you will be carrying two DSLRs. When I shoot locally, I'll often have a tele on my right shoulder and a W/A on my left. When traveling, I prefer to use a compact. If you're into buying, how about an 18-600mm? One camera would cover a lot.

Ken,
You already have the lens you need. The Fuji with the 18-55 will do and you can use your D7200 with the 18-300 also. In fact the D7200 with the 18-300 lens would be the only camera I would take frankly. That combination will give you what is needed to get the falls. Have a Great Trip - I've been there about 15 yrs ago and had with me the Nikon D80 with a 24-120 and a 70-300. At the falls I only used the 24-120 and there was so much mist that using the longer side of the lens was difficult. TAKE A CAMERA AND LENS COVER you will need it. The 70-300 I used for the wild life outside the falls area.

I was at Victoria Falls in June. Hard to take good pictures from the ground. I suggest going on a helicopter and using a telephoto lens. There are a few helicopter rides available

You may want to consider doing a panorama set of images.
Once you are home sew them together for that eminence reveal of your experience while there...

I went a few years ago. If water level is high, there will be so much spray that you wont be able to see anything, let alone photograph it. Suggest helecopter ride, as someone else suggested.
Also, bring something to protect camera.

Enjoy the trip.

I used a Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G with a tripod on my D810. Bear in mind that there is a great deal of spray from the falls. I generally do not use a UV filter, but I did at the Falls to keep the water off the front lens element. Our trip was in September 2016 and it was not as wet as when the river is in full flow. Got some fantastic rainbow and double rainbow images.

Would a waterproof point and shoot camera be a good idea? ie Olympus Tough or Nikon AW series, etc?

The 18-300 is all you need. I was there in July and the river was high creating a lot of mist. You will get wet, so be prepared. Take the helicopter ride if budget allows.

OK, the widest one you have is going to have an angle of view of 18-36 on your 12-24. Depends on your distance from the falls.

The locals said last April the Zambeze River was the highest it's been in 10 years. The spray was incredible. There are 20 viewing stations, they told us not to consider 11-20, the spray was so intense. And stations 8-10 were plenty moist. The falls are really something, but not easy to photograph. It's not like Niagara where you're a good distance away. The Victoria Falls gorge is relatively narrow. When do you find a dryer spot to shoot from, the mist will obscure some, like a foggy day. It is the widest waterfall in the world so it's plenty impressive. In our case anyway, a wide angle lens wouldn't help much, just more mist to capture.

if you are happy with the images that the 18-55 produces, I would use it at somewhere around 20-30mm to create multiple images to stitch into a panorama. Try this at home before you travel to perfect the technique.

Is it possible to change lenses on the D7200?
Second D7200 body seems a bit silly, carry 3 bodies total?
If it is possible to change lenses on a D7200, then the 12-24 would make good sense. Change the lens, if possible for that model, and have one D7200 body for two lenses.
12mm becomes an 18mm equivalent FOV. Which is considered WA.
Your 18-55 is only 27mm equivalent FOV.

when I was there a few years ago what i needed was a raincoat. the only images that I got of any value was a double rainbow. If I were to return I think I would go to the bridge between the two countries and see what you can get from there.
