AHH....a "push-me-pull-you" When I was a kid in the early 60's, Lionel had this loco on the front of its catalog....boy did I want one. Great memories Thanks for posting.

Thanks. Pennsylvania electrified in the 30's. The Gg-1's were jYat starting then too. The voltaGres have changed and G's are gone but the wires are still there.

There is still one in Elkhart, Indiana at the NYC museum there. Took my dad there for his birthday. He recalled them from the Pennsy when his dad worked for them.

I need to go back with the camera. Would a Speed Graphic and Ilford HP5+ be suitable?

Glad I could share. I remember my father's Lionel GG-1 heavy sob. Don't know about that film or camera you mentioned.

Speed Graphic (4x5 film in my case) is/was a camera used by press photographers roughly from the 30's - 60's. HP5+ is a 400 ISO black and white film by Ilford, a UK company.
