I just love ospreys. It is physically impossible to get close enough to this particular nest to use conventional lenses, so it was a good test for my new P1000. I used a monopod & leaned my back against my van, so a pretty steady hold was possible. Camera data is shown above the photo. Downloading is recommended.

Beautiful, Earl. I saw several Osprey yesterday but they were along a road where stopping and pulling off are prohibited.
